Description
It must have been lunch time; I was driving through a Pacific Grove, CA neighborhood and happened upon this view....I was able to get several shots and was fortunate enough to get one with a deer on his hind legs reaching up into the tree for a treat....I am sure that the yard they were in took a real beating from all six of them taking their lunch break there.

Great job on this piece! After living in the Appalachian mountains for eleven years, I know how the deer will go for the yards with the most delicious plants! I finally "learned" which ones were really deer proof not just resistant. l/f

In Wisconsin....they would even jump for branches....!!

Wow, now I wish that I had stayed longer but I got about 15 shots of them.... xoxo

Oh wow! I live by a park and there are always deer wandering about (dangerous driving), but NOTHING like this! I feel sorry for the owners of that lovely garden! All that aside, wonderful capture Joyce! I especially love the one on it's hind legs! l/f!
Joyce Dickens replied:
Thanks so much dear Meg; I waited for that one a bit....I could tell that he had that in mind when he started sniffing the tree....
