Description
This gorgeous yellow rose is from my Mom's garden. This is from a very old rose bush that my Dad gave to Mom some 40 something years ago. He passed away in 1980 but the rose lives on as a symbol of his love for Mom.....Almost dead a year ago, I pruned it back, gave it some tender loving care including Miracle Grow and when I picked this latest bouquet for Mom, I picked eight of them and there were still that many remaining on the ancient rose bush.

My mother had one yellow rose bush in her garden (maybe twelve bushes in all) and we always loved that one and the roses appeared in many of her paintings. Very special, these old ones!! F/L++ Great shot, Joyce!

An exquisite image with deep yellow tones, a few water droplets and that perfect dark background. Lovely! L/F
