Taken in the Fall of 2007 near Bailey Creek just west of Mount Lassen in Northern California�....was looking for an abstract look�...inverted, increased the saturation, added some backlight, and finally added a gradient filter�......to me this has an enchanted feel, maybe a bit mystical...Have had a wonderful response to this image in the past three years.
My name is Joyce Dickens and I work in Digital Photography. I like to refer to my work as Infused Artography. I have worked quite a while in photography but only since 2003, have I decided that this is what really brings me Joy and Purpose! I love photography and my camera has become an extension of me; I see beauty everywhere I look, and sometimes it will be the smallest thing that catches my attention and just begs me to photograph it; these things many times would go unnoticed. I appreciate your lovely compliment Gregory - thank you; I seem to end up down this path quite frequently, it is something like painting by the time that I finally reach the end product....just a different way of achieving it....I often save it several different steps along the way.....I don't mind sharing if I can inspire something new for someone to try then that is cool! jd
