Oh, yet another visual treat from you Joyce! You have so much variety of artwork and I always resonate it seems with everything. The feeling of this sun drenched fanning beauty is intense and so lovely. L/F

Such beautiful feathers! And I love the rich texture of the wood as contrast! Your beautiful and identified bird image has been featured by Wild Birds Of The World, a nature photography group. L/F

Joyce Dickens replied:

Bless you William; I am honored by the feature!!!

If it's okay with you, I'll see if I can do a very small watercolor....

Joyce Dickens replied:

I would love for you to do that Nancy; can't wait to see it :-))

Well, patience wins the day. This is a sight I've never seen...so graceful...the tail spread into a fan, so gorgeous ...the colors...who knew there was soft blue??? I just love this one, Joyce. Hope you'll play with this photograph to make it even sharper. F/L+++

Joyce Dickens replied:

thank you so much dear Nancy; I was as surprised as you when I saw this one; it is seriously cropped as this was way down on the lower level of my backyard and zoomed as much as I could without distorting it; I will see if I can bring in a bit more clarity! xoxoxo
