I recently wrote this poem to accompany this image;
There is nothing simple
about a Rose or a Woman
We both strive to age with
Grace and Beauty
As
We plant our feet and
Stand our ground
We bring Joy, Love and Romance
And
Sometimes a little one to bounce around
We like to embellish your homes
with beautiful color and sweet savory scents
Your yards have never looked lovelier
from either side of the fence
We are at our best and never gloom
when we are well manicured, fit,
and in full bloom
Handle us with gentleness and a soft touch
less you shall soon see
that our thorns are long and piercing
