Description
While walking along the Sacramento River in northern CA., USA, I came across this piece of plastic wrap - before I picked it up and added it to the trash I was collecting, I just had to shoot it.....it seemed like something really beautiful as the intense heat was making it sweat and created this lovely abstract....

Quite a beautiful capture, from the water droplets to its starlike shape. A great find and well done, Joyce!

Gregory how nice of you to stop bye; thank you for the awesome support of this image....I am amazed when I go out on a shoot in nature and see things like this that could have been so easily picked up by whomever dropped it....collectively, we can all make a difference :-)

Joyce, how very beautiful to see through your eyes! I suppose when we label something "trash",in the labeling ,we cease to "see" it ,as we then think we know what it is. I know someone who labels squirrels and seagulls as "vermin"(.Along with many other creatures). So he cannot see their beauty. This "trash" is indeed an abstract bubbly,light-filled,extraordinary masterpiece ! Thank you for sharing your wide-open sight ! v/f
Joyce Dickens replied:
I am so honored dear Jane by your awesome appreciation of my work.....it is with immense pleasure that I shoot such things as I always see the beauty first.....I am delighted that you are enjoying this image Jane.....every single living thing, whether it be plant or animal is a gift of beauty.....we have to be receptive in order to "see" it.....I know that you are very receptive and that makes me very happy - I am finding pleasure in shooting inanimate objects such as this "trash" .....I feel like a kid in a candy store when I go out with my camera! xoxo Joyce
