Joyce, Just finished paying a surprise visit to your wonderful Birds of a Feather Gallery and fav and voted on all 29 of the exceptional photos in this gallery. This beautiful photo really caught my eye and I chose this one as my favorite from your great gallery, great angle that you have captured this Hummingbird at along with capturing this Pink Hibiscus, great details in both the bird and flower and the clarity is remarkable, I fav, voted, google and tweet promoted this photo

A brilliantly captured moment, Joyce! How did you get this hummer to "pose" for this lovely capture? Did you "hum" a few bars of "Bye Bye Birdie"? LOL However you did this, it is truly an astonishing piece of art work and one of my faves!
Joyce Dickens replied:
Randy I apologize for the late response to your lovely comment here.....this is a merge of two images, but a favorite of mine as well - thank you so much for the appreciation! Sometimes I sit for hours waiting for a close up of these little hummers.....this one flew right up to me but had some undesirable background, so I decided to work with it and this is the end result....I so appreciate your support of my work!
