This beautiful young deer so sweetly responded to my words of encouragement as I talked to her from clear across the street, little by little she got closer and finally within maybe just eight feet or so, then my sister opened the door behind me and said I might get kicked so I called it a day - after about 20 shots of this little beauty in various stages as she crossed the street and came clear up to me on the porch of my sister's house in Sisters, Oregon. The residents of this lovely little town all respect the deer and let them have free run and they are actually semi-domesticated, but still wild and free; and so very beautiful!
