Joyce, I was hooked on to this the moment I saw the thumbnail! Isn't this just too beautiful to be true! I'm so attracted to that warm and lovely golden light. It looks like a stone or partly concealed step in the foreground? That's where I'm imagining I'm sitting in order to look down into the brilliant blue ripples and then up into the stately conifers and on into the light. Just so much beauty here! v/f
Joyce Dickens replied:
What a wonderful start to a new day my sweet friend; thank you from my heart for such a wonderful and generous compliment on this work......I too can go back to this image, as that is what I did when I took this shot.....just sat there with my feet in the cool water and enjoyed the view :-) I really liked the image straight from the camera, but it was a bit washed out due to the bright sunlight, so I tried several manipulations and this one is the one that really appealed to me as it brought out the real beauty of this lovely location.....a spot that I am able to go back to often as it is within a hour of home....thanks again for the lovely compliment Jane, and have an awesome week ahead! Joyce
